Our Motivation

We are parents ourselves and were faced with the question of the right childcare for our children. We quickly realized that the offer in Mainz is very limited and that anyone would be lucky to get a childcare place at the time they need.

We have therefore decided to become active ourselves and set up a bilingual kindergarten in our city that is recognized by the city of Mainz.

Here is how you can reach us.

Are there still any questions left unanswered? Then feel free to talk to us. We look forward to your message.

Would you like to work with us?

Are you looking for a new challenge in a dedicated team? Are you passionate about working with children and want to provide them with individual support? Do you enjoy contributing to new projects and developing your skills?
Then you'd be a perfect fit for our Kita Mainz Drais!

FAQ

We can well imagine that you still have many questions. You can find answers to the most frequently asked questions here.
1Who is our GlobalKids daycare center in Mainz Drais suitable for?
Our GlobalKids daycare center in Mainz-Drais is open to all children aged 6 months to 6 years who would like bilingual care. We offer them a safe and loving environment where they can grow at their own pace.
2How much does a daycare spot cost?
We have no definitive answer at this time. Legally, children aged two and older in Rhineland-Palatinate are entitled to a free childcare place. However, due to our unique bilingual concept and the planned higher staff-to-child ratio, we already know that we will need additional funding to cover the costs.

We therefore plan to structure the membership fee for supporting members of our association in such a way that it covers the ongoing costs. Our initiative is a non-profit organization and does not aim to generate profits. All of the association's funds will be used for the planned daycare center.
3Who can apply for a daycare spot?
Basically, all families residing in Mainz are eligible. In exceptional cases, we can also accept children from the surrounding area. The only mandatory requirement is that the family resides in Rhineland-Palatinate.
4How can I apply for a daycare spot?
We are delighted by your interest in our program and kindly ask you to send us a brief introduction of your family, including your child's date of birth, your desired start date, and your reasons for being interested in our planned daycare center and how you envision a shared educational partnership. All this information will, of course, be treated confidentially in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Based on this information, we will make a preliminary selection and, as a second step, invite the selected families to an information session. Following this session, we will schedule individual meetings to get to know each other. We take this initial phase of getting to know each other very seriously, as we want to ensure that all questions are answered beforehand and that both sides can rely on one another.
